Hello my super babies. Few days back I had shared a pic on my food group – Live To Eat and many asked for the recipe. It was a pic shared by my bestie. It looked divine. So I wanted the recipe terribly and he did give me which I modified a little because he loves spicy food and I don’t 😛 So here I share my version of Chicken Crispy which tasted yummy with rotis stuffed with veggies.. I made gluten free rotis and added in the crispy chicken , some onions , shredded carrot and beetroot. The combination was flavour full. To begin with this recipe isn’t a cake walk nor it is healthy. But once in a while it’s fine to eat this scrumptious dish. It’s a little tedious because we have to double fry it.. So let’s begin..
I kg boneless chicken ( cut into long stripes )
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Crushed Pepper
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Chilli Flakes
2 tbsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Chilli Powder
Salt as per your wish
Mix everything together well with your hands and keep it aside for 2 hours minimum.
Shredded Beetroot , Carrot and Sliced Onions..
Mixture for frying
Half cup Corn Flour and Rice Flour ( 1/4 th cup )
Add few spoons of water and mix it well.
After 2 hours , Dip the chicken pieces into the above mixture and start frying them.
See to that it isn’t completely fried.
Once half fried , take it out.
Then after 15 mins fry them again till super crispy ( Do Not Burn them )
2 big Onions sliced
2 Green Chillies Chopped
1 tbsp Schezwan sauce
2 tbsp Garlic Red Chilli Sauce
2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
In a pan , add in oil and fry the onions and green chillies.
Once fried , add in the above sauces and cook well..
Once cooked add in the Crispy Fried Chicken and stir well.
Add in salt if necessary.
Off the flame and add in 2 tbsp of Honey and stir well..
It is ready to hog on 😛
